Jeff Kaufman  




Veteran agent Jeff Kaufman has worked as a film and television music agent in Los Angeles since 1986, and was a partner in the entertainment industries first film music agency - Bart-Milander Associates which then became Milander, Schleussner, Kaufman (M.S.K.) and Film Music Associates.

At these agencies Kaufman in collaboration with his partners was responsible for signing, developing and nurturing such talents as Hans Zimmer, Gabriel Yared, Rachel Portman and Mason Daring amongst others.

By late 1996, Kaufman left the agency to open up his own firm, The Kaufman Agency, which represents award winning composer clients worldwide, including Carl Davis, Barry Goldberg, Dick Hyman, Ron Jones, Hummie Mann, Mark McKenzie, Peter Melnick, Sheldon Mirowitz, Mark Suozzo, Michael Whalen, Alan Williams and others.

Steven Scott Smalley  




Orchestrator Scott Smalley has worked for a wide variety of composers including Danny Elfman, Bill Ross, Basil Poledouris and many others. His credits include "The Insider," "Batman," "Mission: Impossible" and he is internationally recognized as one of the world's leading instructors of orchestration for film and television with students from over 10 countries and regular orchestration courses taught in Los Angeles and New York.
Mark Northam  




Mark Northam is publisher of Film Music Magazine, The Royalty Report, and founder of The Film Music Network. He teaches music business courses in Los Angeles, New York and Boston through The Film Music Institute, which he founded in 1997 and Los Angeles area colleges. He is a classically trained jazz pianist and composer.

As an entertainment industry author, Mark has written extensively about how writers and publishers can be financially successful in the digital age.
